cages

Thinking about topographies, and the sense of barriers and limits, I recalled the 'cages' used to house sandflies in biomedical research. These 'cages' are made of a fine nylon mesh, transparent and mutable.
Thinking about mirror worlds, as if a fine veil separates our daily existence from other worlds .

The drawings make the mutable a solid thing, a strange object, un identifiable, again kind of floating or in limbo as if undewater.
